Douglas Water Golf Club is a 9 hole golf course, set on a hill above Douglas Water, a tributary of the Clyde, from which the course takes its name.
It is an undulating course with plateau greens and provides a good test for any standard of golfer.
A couple of miles from the M74 Services at Happendon, J11 Southbound, J12 Northbound, and 5 miles from the town of Lanark.
£6 for 9 holes, £10 for 18 holes weekdays, or £7 for 9, £12 for 18 on weekends/bank holidays. For membership Gents membership is £190 per annum, Senior Gents is £95 per annum, Ladies is £95 per annum, Senior Ladies is £50 per annum. All new adult members also pay a £70 joining fee. Junior Membership is £40 per annum with no joining fee. There is no waiting list at present.
Welcome any time except Saturdays because of competitions.
