Overview
Skelmorlie Golf Club is a private 18 hole golf course situated on the gentle slopes overlooking the villages of Skelmorlie & Wemyss Bay on the West Coast of Scotland.
Although not the longest of golf courses measuring a little over 5,000 yards off the men's medal tees, the course is a good challenge for all levels of golfer and accurate positional play is rewarded.
The course is perfect for a day ticket, and rounds commonly take just over three hours for a three ball.
A par 65, stunning views of the Firth of Clyde on the way round ensure a memorable golf experience at Skelmorlie.
Location
Situated at the top of the hill behind the village of Skelmorlie. Only 3km from Wemyss Bay railway station.
By Road:
From Greenock: The A78 South 10 Km. Pass Wemyss Bay pier & Caravan Park entrance & Turn left. At the top of Station Road turn Left, Follow road for 1 Km. Turn left to golf club 200 metres up hill.
From Largs: A78 North 6 Km.Turn right at Skelmorlie Castle then 1 Km past Caravan Site. Turn right to golf club 200 meters up hill, or turn right at Skelmorlie boundary and right at Annetyard Road to golf club 400 meters up hill
