Overview
Tyrells Wood Golf Club in Surrey was formed in 1924 and it's original golf course was designed by five times Open champion James Braid.
Located on the edge of the North Downs, this 18 hole golf course provides magnificent views of the Surrey countryside.
This course is a challenge for all golfers and with its downland / parkland landscape and quick undulating greens, golfers have to be on the top of their game to score well at Tyrells Wood.
General costs
Summer 2008: 18 Holes Weekday £43, 18 Holes with a member £21.50, Weekday all day pass £60, Weekday all day pass with a member £30. Weekend Twilight Round (After 4pm) £30, Weekend Round with a Member £25.
Winter Green Fees:
22nd October - 24th March: Playing after 10am, £21.50 a head - maximum of 8 persons.
Catering
Social functions, weddings, meetings and conferences can all be catered for.
Visitors
Visitors, with the exception of those playing with a member, are not permitted to play before 4pm on Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays. Green fees should be paid at the professional shop prior to the round of golf and it is advisable to telephone in advance for tee time availability.
Societies
Societies and corporates are welcome at Tyrrells Wood with prior booking, there are a variety of packages available to suit all requirements.
Restaurant
The restaurant has a reputation for good food and the Sunday carvery is always a popular event.
Club shop
Open from 8am, 7 days a week. the pro shop at Tyrrells Wood has a wide range of club crested garments from Cutter & Buck and Peter Scott, as well as some fine quality leather accessories.
