Founded in 1904 by a collective of golfing enthusiasts including the author Arthur Conan Doyle, The Hindhead Golf Club is an 18 hole course built on heathland and dense woodland valleys.
The golf course is beautiful in appearance and has been used on a number of occasions for the Open Championship regional qualifying, which is a clear indication of the quality of this golfing venue.

At weekends, golfers are required to have a handicap limit 20 or better. Handicap certificates are required at Hindhead.
Societies are welcome at Hinhead Golf Club on Wednesdays and Thursdays only.
