Overview
Foxhills Golf Club in Surrey boasts 3 different golf courses, two of which are Championship standard which have staged a number of prestigious tournaments in recent years.
The Bernard Hunt Course, named after the European Tour PGA professional who still teaches at the club today, is a particularly demanding golf course. Tall pine trees line this golf course and with the gently undulating landscape dictating the immaculate fairways, accuracy and control from start to finish are a must. The course finishes with a hole described by local members as 'Cardiac Hill' which requires a huge tee shot to avoid a partially blind second shot up the hill.
The Longcross Course presents an equally difficult challenge to that of the Hunt course. Silver Birch, Beech and Scottish Pine trees come into play on regular occasion, and with narrow fairways, the undulating landscape, strategically positioned bunkers and partially blind approach shots on some holes, this is not a forgiving course for the wayward golfer.
The Manor course is a nine hole golf course that is maintained to the same standard as it's championship quality companions at Foxhills. The prestigious PGA Junior Championships have been hosted here, a good indication of the quality of golf required to card a good score on this par 27 course.
