Overview

Wimbledon Park Golf Club is a beautiful golf course based in Wimbledon, close to the famous Lawn Tennis Club.

Founded in 1898, the club is a private members club with a magnificent 18-hole golf course, short game practice area and putting green maintained in first class condition all year round.

One of the highlights of the course is the 12th hole which guarantees spectacular panoramic views of South London, with the tree lined vistas designed by Capability Brown.

This course has well positioned hazards all the way round and is great challenge for all level of golfer.

Location

Church Road Arthur Road and Home Park Road from Wimbledon High Street or by District Line to Wimbledon Park Station where signposted.

General costs

Visitor Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays) £65, Guest introduced and playing with a member £18, Weekends and public holidays £23 (guests only)

Catering

Sunday lunch, breakfast meetings, functions and events are all part of the club's current catering programme.

Visitors are always welcome at Wimbledon Park.

Societies

Wimbledon Park Golf Club is open to societies and advanced booking is essential. Society days are only permitted on Tuesdays or Thursdays.

Club shop

The pro shop stocks an extensive range of top brand names and is open 7 days a week to offer expert advice. Golf Clubs The following brands are available in the shop: Callaway (including the FTi), Titleist, Cobra, Odyssey, MD Golf and Benross plus our own WPGC range. Footwear A wide range of men's, women's and junior footwear from leading brands Footjoy and Hi-Tec. Accessories including balls, gloves, waterproofs and a selection of crested gifts. Golf bags A variety of golf bags from lightweight ones to trolley versions including the Ultralight Sun Mountain. Golf clothing Supply a range of men and women's golf clothing, including waterproofs Footjoy, Proquip and Cutter & Buck.
