Overview
London Scottish Golf Club is a historic golf course built on the wooded commonland of Wimbledon Common.
Although this 18 hole course measures just 5,500 yards and includes just one par 5, tricky pin positions, doglegs and mature trees all come into play to make this an interesting challenge of golf.
Bernard Darwin CBE had his own unique opinion on this golf course: ''There is an old-fashioned air about golf at Wimbledon - it has at least one supreme virtue that of naturalness; those clumps of gorse and the deep ravines where the birches grow were put there by the hand of nature herself, who if she be not so cunning, is at any rate infinitely more artistic than any golfing architect''.
