It may be small but we hope it’ll be useful. We’ve added a ‘Invite your friends’ feature to Sandwedged.  When you login to your account, from the ‘My Home’ page you can choose ‘Invite friends’ from within the Friends area of the page. This will allow you to send a couple of email invitations to your fellow golfing friends to come along and join the Sandwedged party. Hopefully you will find this feature useful, so go on, invite your friends!
There’s no worse feeling than being half way through your round of golf, spotting that the heavens are about to open, with the sharp realisation you’ve left your waterproofs in the boot of the car.
Rain often makes golf less enjoyable but it’s always a bit more tolerable when you are prepared for it.
When tracking your golf scores, of course it’s vital to record all that data, but sometimes golf data just doesn’t give you the whole picture. There are certain things that a scorecard just can’t record. Therefore, when you look back you might not be getting the full picture on why you played so well (or dare I say badly). So to address this problem, we’ve added the ability to add notes to each round of golf you save in the golf scoretracker. So now you can be reminded that you left your putter in the garage, had to borrow your friend’s, and the rest was history.
Any other features that you would like to see on the site, be sure to drop us a line.
It’s been a while coming, but we’ve now got a proper home for the Sandwedged golf blog. The blog had been sitting in a templated Wordpress theme feeling a bit unloved, but we’ve now re-skinned and rejuvinated! Hope you like the new look and feel, and of course the insightful golf commentary!
Whether you are a regular golfer or just someone who likes the occasional game with a friend, it’s nice to be able to remember those special rounds where everything goes right.
So, we created the Sandwedged Golf Score Tracker so that you have a place to keep a comprehensive record of all your golf scores.
If you play golf regularly, the Score Tracker is a great tool to see whether you are improving over time, especially important if you are playing the same course. Recording your scores hole-by-hole gives you the option to compare your performance, identifying the troublesome holes where you drop shots and those holes which you play to perfection.
For the social golfer, the Score Tracker can be the place where you show off all the golf scores you are proud of, and keep those rather embarrassing scores hidden away. If you aren’t interested in seeing your hole-by-hole scores, you can just enter your total score instead.
Everyone loves a bit of a competition and so we’ve made sure you can enter your the score of the golf partner or friend who played the round with you. Keeping track of those head-to-head rounds gives you a record of who won the bragging rights on the golf course, something which is always worth printing out and showing off when you’re having a nice drink in the clubhouse.
There’s nearly 3,000 golf courses in the UK and Ireland so which one is right for you? We’ve done our very best to collect as much information as possible on all the golf courses in your region to help you find everything you need to play a round.
There’s a few different ways you can search for UK and Ireland golf courses using the Course Finder. If you are looking for a specific golf course, the quickest way is to use the search box on the left hand side of the page.
However, if you are looking for a wider range of courses in an area, you can search by either postcode, city or county.
And, when you are logged in to Sandwedged, we filter the results for you so you can see how far you need to travel to get to each golf course.
